JANET HUIE/HOWIE

Janet was born about 1755. She was the daughter of John Huie and Jean McBain.
She married Alexander Ralston about 1770.
Janet passed away about 1799.

They had 7 Children:

  1. Jean; born 2 February 1773. Christened about 2 February 1773 at Southend Parish.
  2. Helen, born 19 March 1775 at Southend; married David Ralston 12 December 1800 in Southend,Scotland, she died 19 May 1855 Harlem, Winnebago County, Illinois.
  3. Elizabeth, born 1778 at Brecklate, Southend, She married Charles Brown in 1801 and she died in Illinois on 16 Dec 1854.
  4. Jannett b. June 22 1780 at Southend Parish.
  5. Mary, born 1783 at Southend, Scotland, married John Gordon, she died 30 Aug 1861 Washington County, Ohio.
  6. Peter born 20 Nov 1785 Southend, Scotland and died 14 Feb 1869 at Harlem Township, Winnebago County, Illinois.
  7. John, christened 5 November 1789 Southend; was a farmer in Achaura. He married Isabella Greenlee. He died 14 Feb 1865 Caledonia, Boone County, Illinois.
