"My ancestor was Bernard Conolly, a Merchant of Clones, Co. Monaghan, Ireland. I've visited his gravesite in St. Tighernach's graveyard in Clones. He was buried there in 1794 along with some of his children and other family members. "Margaret Hanna's mother was Jane Wallace, a descendant of the famous Scottish hero William Wallace's brother Malcom Wallace. Hence the great pride in the aristocratic Hannas of Newry." "My ggrandfather William J. Conolly of Goulburn had one sister, Mary Conolly. She married Obadiah Willans, came to live in Queanbeyan, New South Wales. They had 8 children, one of whom, Harriett Eliza, born Dublin 1851, married John James Woodward. Their grandson became a Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia and Governor of New South Wales.
