CHARLES BROWN

Third great grandfather CHARLES BROWN was born at High Machrimore farm June 11, 1778, Son of
Fourth great grandparents Thomas Brown and Helen Dunlop. He died 14 Apr 1850 (aged 71) Illinois, USA.
He married Elizabeth Ralston, daughter of Alexander Ralston, on May 16, 1801 at Southend, Kintyre, Scotland.
She was Born circa 1778 at Brecklate.

  1. Janet 1802 - 1845; she married Peter Ralston January 21, 1820 in Southend, Scotland, and she died 1845 in Illinois.
  2. Helen 1804 - 1865; married John David Greenlees in Scotland August 3, 1822 and she died March 18, 1865 in Illinois.
  3. Thomas 1807 - 1889 ; he married Margaret Ralston in Illinois March 22, 1860, he died October 4, 1889 in Illinois.
  4. Alexander 1809 - 1889; he married Margaret A Brown in Scotland June, 16, 1834, he died October 12, 1889.
  5. Jane 1811 - 1895; she married George Picken in Scotland in 1830, she died March 10, 1895 in Illinois.
  6. Mary 1814 - 1896; she married John Andrew June 6, 1833, she died August 30, 1896 in Illinois.
  7. Charles 1817 - 1882; he died in Illinois.
