Isaiah Whitman was the first child of Deac. Nicholas Whitman and Mary House. Born 1760 in 30 August 1793 in, MA and died 7 April 1827 in Windsor, MA, MA, with burial in Bush Cemetery.
He married
Chloe Phillips daughter of Mark and Mercy Phillips. She
born 1764 and died 15 January 1846.
He served in the Revolutionary war on three occasions,
enlisting the first time when he was about 16; removed to
Windsor, Mass., about the same time as his cousins Ebenezer
and Jepthah, settling in that portion of the town known as
Windsor Bush; was a religious man, strict in his observance
of the Sabbath, and conscientious in his dealings with his
fellow-men; for many years was a deacon of the 2nd
Congregational Church of Windsor.
