II. SECOND GENERATION: EMMA JANE BALL

Emma Jane Ball, the daughter of Charles W. Ball and Betsy Ann Bradshaw, was born 5 June 1854 in Burlington, Wis. She married Wm. J. Goff 13 November 1872 in Burlington.1
  1. They had four children;
  2. Clara Lovisa, born 12 Nov. 1874, married Louis A. Belden, 10 February 1900, died 25 May 1954.
  3. Blanche Emma, born 15 Feb. 1877 and married to Alvin Baker 28 June 1906 in Rockford, died 10 March 1930.
  4. Della Jane, born 24 Apr. 1883, died 7 February 1917, Rockford, Illinois.
  5. William James Romanzo, born 2 June 1893 and, married to Helen Craig 6 Nov. 1921.
The family was living in Burlington when the children were born except for Blanche who was born in Honey Creek.2 They were in Burlington when her mother died in 1897.3 and, in Rockford, Ill. when her father died in 1904.4 and when her husband died in 1909.5

While living on Water Street in Rockford, she had a beautiful flower garden in the back yard. She died while living at a Beloit, Wis. convalescent home 19 June 1948 at age 94. Burial was in Cedar Bluff Cemetery.
