William Goff, our ancestor, is probably the one
who married "Rebecka Whiting, both of
Rehoboth, married by Rev. Lemuel Maxwell 18
October 1747."1 It is not known
if he was born there. There is no listing for him
in the Rehoboth, Massachusetts
births.2 Rebecka died 16 May 1781 in
Rehoboth.3
It is thought his parents were Lt. Samuel Goff and Rachell Toogood.
William and Rebecka had 11 children:4

- Amos, born 10 December 1751.
- Simeon, born 18
January 1754, married Thankful Jones 16 April
1778 in Rehoboth,5 she died 4
September 17846 . He remarried Chloe
Peck 10 March 17857 . He died 29
July 1846 in Savoy, Mass.

- Sibbell, born 9 March 1758.
- Ezra, born 26 May 1760.
- Huldah, born 28 May, 1762.
- Rebeckah, born 20 July 1764.
- William, born 20 October 1766.
- Rachal, born 10 August 1768.
